THE BOZ IS BACK IN TOWN

ATLANTA, GA (IB – April 28, 2006) – The “Boz” is back, and there ain’t no
fooling around… This was exactly the approach that Heavyweight Cedric “The Boz”
Boswell (21-1, 17 KOs) took into his return to the ring on Friday night fights
live from Atlanta Live via a Strong Arm Promotions www.strongarmpromotions.com .
The hometown Atlanta fans were treated with a 2nd round knock out win over
Wallace McDaniel (7-12, 3 KOs), would stood 6’ 8” and was totally outclassed and
not even in the same league as Boswell.
Cedric, now 36 years of age, and coming off a 2 ˝ half year layoff from the ring
since his defeat against Jameel “Big Time” McCline back in October 2003,
realizes that he doesn’t have any time to fool around if he is going to make his
mark to the top of the heavyweight division. Boswell clearly realizes how close
he actually was to gaining an opportunity to fight for the World Heavyweight
championship had he not ran out of gas in the late rounds of the McCline fight.
That was then, and this is now. Even after the solid knockout in the 2nd round,
Cedric stated, “I felt like I couldn’t get into my rhythm and I know that I need
more ring work”. Cedric hopes to be back in the ring as early as July this year
and is more than willing to step up the competition level.
Has the curtain closed on this once prominent heavyweight who definitely
possesses the skills to compete at the top level? Only time will tell. Cedric’s
chiseled 235lb frame gives the depiction that he definitely is in good shape and
the rest will be determined upon his work ethic and his mental preparations.
Stay tuned and let’s see how his comeback tour unfolds. The heavyweight division
could sure use another devastating puncher on the scene. Congratulations Cedric
on your comeback victory!
