(INSIDE BOXING-May 06, 2003) - A few days ago it was announced that Vitali
Klitschko would be fighting on the Lennox Lewis vs. Kirk Johnson undercard.
Today, InsideBoxing.com makes it known who he will face and he could not have
chosen a more dangerous opponent.
Finally, there is a heavyweight out there with the courage to take on rising
star
Cedric
Boswell (21-0, 16 KOs). Its a done deal! Vitali Klitschko (32-1, 31 KOs), and
viewed by many as the #1 heavyweight in the world, and the biggest threat to
Lennox Lewis, will take on Boswell as part of the Lewis vs. Johnson card on June
21, 2003 at the Staple Center in Los Angeles, California.
I spoke to Cedric this afternoon and he is elated to have this opportunity to
bring his talents to center stage.
"I am very excited about this fight and America is about to witness me break him
off properly!"
Cedric is not convinced that Vitali is the best heavyweight in the world and is
determined to show the boxing world that it is he who is the one that has the
superior talent. Cedric stated that, "Corrie Sanders started the job with the
Klitschko's and I am going to finish it."
Inside Boxing brought the boxing public's attention to Boswell last year in a
story called "A HEAVYWEIGHT ON THE MOVE" and now the boxing public will be able
to see why this heavyweight prospect is destine to become world champion.
We've been following Cedric's career and are very delighted to see this class
act get this much deserved opportunity.
You will want to tune in to the double header of heavyweight action on June 21st
to see this drama unfold.
