DRAMA AT THE RUIZ VS JONES WEIGH-IN

LAS VEGAS, NV (IB – February 27. 2003) – In anticipation of the weigh-in for Roy Jones Jr. and John Ruiz, we were provided some additional drama as well.

First of all, John Ruiz entered the arena in the attire mimicking a 70s pimp and grabbed a microphone shouting, “where is my ho?” This was his way of suggesting that he was going to beat Jones like a pimp beats their ho (whore).  More

(IB – February 11. 2003) – You will want to mark your calendar for Saturday March 1, 2003 to see if Roy Jones Jr. can defy logic and capture a portion of the Heavyweight boxing crown.

John Ruiz versus Roy Jones Junior Por el cetro Completo AMB

(IB-8 de Enero 2003) - Este miércoles 8 de Enero se alisto la carpa para la presentación en conferencía para Marzo 1, 2003. Estuvo abierta al público en la entrada al Forum del Ceasars Palace Casino de Las Vegas donde sera llevara a cabo la serie eliminatoria de los pesos Completos. Chris Bird como monarca de la FIB como invitado al torneo estuvo presente. Habia mucha gente alrededor, pero las sillas de los todos los participantes y periodistas estaban vacias, el motivo fue que todos los protagonistas del magno evento estaban congregados en el restaurante SPAGO a pocos metros del foro.

En la planta baja del restaurante habia gente de boxeo tomando cafe y charlando amenamente, en el segundo piso en un cuarto amplio estaban como buenos camaradas: King, Jones, y Ruiz dando entrevistas a todos los medios de comunicación.. Continuar
