(IB – Atlanta, GA, October 26, 2003) – David Oblas & Austin Wingo’s
Undisputed Productions put another stellar show of exciting
boxing
for the Atlanta fight fans.
In the main event, Paul Delgado (9-2-1, 2 KOs), of Atlanta, recorded an eight round unanimous decision win over Marteze Logan (10-4-1, 2 KOs), of Memphis, TN. in the super lightweight division of 140lbs. This bout progressed into a very entertaining bout. In the second round, Delgado landed a flurry of punches to the head of Logan and the referee issued a standing eight count to Logan. Later on, in the same round, Logan lands a right hand to the face of Delgado, which sends him to the canvas. So both fighters were knock downed in this round. However, two of the three judges scored the round as 8-8.
While Logan managed to keep the fight competitive, it was clear that Paul
Delgado possessed the superior boxing skills and remained the busier fighter
throughout the night. The final scoring was 78-75, 78-72, & 76-73 all in favor
of Paul “The Truth” Delgado.
Results from the under card were as follows:
Leo Laudet, of Atlanta, stopped Bryant Suggs in the second round with a
vicious straight right hand to the jaw in their 166lb fight.
Thomas Nguyen won by unanimous decision over Baki Zymberi Janaya Davis improved
to 3-0 with a dominating unanimous win over Trini Guzman Juan Clemons scored a
2nd TKO win over Tony Foster in a heavyweight bout.
Quinton Smith scored a unanimous decision win over Dale Messman.
