AGUILAR, TOP RANK TO TEAM UP FOR BLOCKBUSTER TV DEBUT

MERRILLVILLE - Octavious James' ONE IN A MILLION BOXING CLUB, today announced local super welterweight sensation Juan "The Mexican Connection," Aguilar, a Mexico native fighting out of Whiting, will make his television debut on the popular Telefutera Network "Solo Boxeo" series Feb. 27 in Chicago.

Aguilar, who won decisively on ONE IN A MILLION's St. Valentine's Day Brawl last week in Merrillville, will face Luciano Perez at Chicago's DePaul University for the show on the Spanish-Language network.  The "Solo Boxeo" series is the highest rated boxing program in the Chicagoland area.

The Aguilar-Perez fight will be more than a television appearance, the Whiting fighter said.  "I can test myself against a tough fighter and prove myself on national TV," Aguilar said.  "This is why I became a pro fighter and signed with ONE IN A MILLION." "It also is great that some of my family in Mexico will get to watch me fight."

Both Aguilar and Perez are undefeated in five professional bouts.

The televised card will feature Mexican ring ledgend Yory Boy Campas, a former world light middleweight champion, against Roberto Baro also from Mexico.

With strong performances since turning pro last summer. Fans throughout Northwest Indiana have rallied behind the Team Aguilar.

According to OIAM CEO Octavious James, "Juan has been training hard and putting on great ring performances, so he really has earned the right to show his skills on television.
