Unbeaten Jason LeHoullier headlines
Manchester pro boxing card Oct. 24 at Center of NH
MANCHESTER, N.H. (October 2, 2003) – Undefeated middleweight prospect Jason “The
Hammer” LeHoullier (8-0, 5 KOs) headlines “Pro Boxing’s Back in Manchester,” a
benefit show October 24 at the Center of New Hampshire in the Manchester Holiday
Inn.
Proceeds from “Pro Boxing’s Back in Manchester,” presented by Candia Road Smoke,
will go to the Manchester Memorial High School football team and Farmington
Gridiron Club.
LeHoullier, 25, lives in Dover (NH) and fights out of Portland (ME). Heb was the
2001 New England Golden Gloves champion, as well as a title winner at the 2001
USA Boxing/New England Tournament of Champions. He is scheduled to fight in the
six-round main event against TBA.
The six-round co-feature matches a pair of professional kick-boxers, Gary “The
Bone” Bonefant, of Manchester (NH), and New York City middleweight Peter
Kelchivak. Bonefant is the reigning USKBA Intercontinental Super Welterweight
kickboxing champion. He and Kelchivak have fought several times, but this will
be the first time as pro boxers.
Another kick-boxer, Scott “The Skull Crusher” Jones, squares off against Jose
Colon (1-1), of Lawrence (MA), in a four-round heavyweight bout. Jones, of
Hudson (NH), owns Tattoo America in Seabrook and Nashua.
Also on the undercard in separate four-round matches are super welterweight
Lester Bryant (2-1, 1 KO), of Nashua (NH); featherweight Denise “Mighty” Moses
(1-0, 1 KO), a senior at Lawrence High School (MA); welterweight Alex Infante
(3-1), of Haverhill (MA). All bouts and fighters are subject to change.
Tickets are priced at $100.00 for VIP (includes dinner and ringside seat),
$50.00 ringside, $35.00 reserved, and $25.00 general admission. Tickets are
available at Candia Road Smoke, Uptown Tavern and Black Brimer.
Doors for the VIP dinner open at 5 p.m. for a cocktail hour followed by dinner
between 6-7. The general public will be allowed to enter at 7 p.m. with the
