Watch Out Welterweights-Here Comes
Aquino!
August 20, 2003 West Orange, NJ- For Dominican southpaw sensation Julio Aquino
(10-2, 10 KO’s) a win means a knockout every time. Twenty-nine year old Aquino
excites crowds whenever he fights.
When other kids put on baseball gloves, Aquino put on boxing gloves. Aquino
always loved to fight. He could hit a baseball well but loved to hit his
teammates even more. “I used to get in fights a lot when other kids loved to
play baseball. One day I just realized that my sport was boxing,” recalls Aquino.
Aquino is a disciplined boxer/puncher. Aquino is fearless in the ring. “I don’t
look for a knockout, they just come. I believe that a boxer shouldn’t run in the
ring. I stand right in front of my opponent and make him fight me. I have good
defensive skills but I will not run,” says Aquino.
Boxing fans can see Aquino fight on August 21, 2003 at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in
Philadelphia, PA. Aquino will face Darryl “Terrible T” Tyson. Tyson has been in
the ring with Oscar De La Hoya, Zab Judah, Roger Mayweather and Livingstone
Bramble. Aquino is ready to show the boxing world how great he is on Aug.21st.
