On Monday, April 19, unbeaten Brooklyn natives Paul Malignaggi and Sechew Powell, and Queens native Chris "The Mechanic" Smith will conduct a boxing clinic for participants in the Police Athletic League at Boxing Center - Webster PAL in the Bronx at 3:00 PM. It will be the second in a series of PAL clinics sponsored by DiBella Entertainment (DBE) and Turner Construction as a part of the community relations effort for the Broadway Boxing Presented by Mohegan Sun series. DBE President and Brooklyn native Lou DiBella recently announced the launch of the televised boxing series as a way to provide opportunities and exposure for New York City boxing talent.

The debut fight card of the series will be on Thursday, April 22 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan. Malignaggi will be in the headline bout against veteran Rocky Martinez (40-9-1, 20 KOs). Powell (11-0, 8 KOs) will take on unbeaten prospect Sergio Melendez (5-0). Smith (16-0-1, 10 KO's) will square off against Darien Ford (9-6, 4 K0's, New Orleans, LA) in an eight-round welterweight contest.

For the public interested in purchasing tickets, tickets are priced at $76, $51 and $36, and there are a limited number of VIP Ringside tickets for $101. The cards will originate from venues in the five boroughs, the greater New York Metropolitan Tri-State area, and Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Mohegan Sun is the series site sponsor. Turner Construction, HBO Sports, Everlast Worldwide, Gallagher's Steak House and Punch are also sponsors. The date for the second show in the series is June 4 at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center.
