MIGUEL ESPINO CAMP NOTES
San Fernando, CA (March 26, 2008) — Training out of the John Bray Boxing Club
in San Fernando, California, WBC CABOFE Middleweight Champion Miguel Espino has
been training non-stop for his title defense against Eliu Duenas this weekend in
Baja California. Excited to get back in the ring for the first time since last
November, Espino expressed the following thoughts “I’ve been training hard,
taking care of my body and I’m really looking forward to finally getting back in
the ring. I’m going to give the fans in Mexico another great show.”
The former Contender TV series star has had a couple of recent postponed fights
due to an illness in February and an opponent pulling out at the last minute
earlier this month. Espino is looking to getting past this fight and finishing
off the rest of his 2008 very strong with hopes of a title match.
Espino looks forward to extending his fight streak to 10 straight wins and
continue to build on his #12 WBC ranking.
This 12 round middleweight title defense will headline an exciting fight card
this Saturday, March 29th at the “Gymnasio Tigre Garcia” in Enseneda, Baja
California, Mexico which will include a total of 7 bouts.
